Just to clarify for new readers to this blog...outsourcing is largely new to startup companies. Traditionally venture capitalists only back companies that work in the same physical location and have employees focused full-time on that company. Overall, a trend in outsourcing is not new...however it is new in the case of startups

Outsourcing of software is nothing new, but I am surprised every day what new things are being outsourced overseas. I am seeing more and more legal work being outsourced overseas.
